Welcom Digital has an exciting graduate opportunity to join our Service Desk and progress into a Product Analyst and Consultancy role.
We are based in Harrogate and looking for recent graduates to join their scheme. The successful candidate will join the Service Desk initially where you will undergo full training on their software solution and carry out first line investigation for this.
You will then move to a Product Analyst role, responsible for investigating and devising solutions to issues raised on the product and by their clients. Longer term, there will be the opportunity to progress into a consultancy role for the product.
Our Service Desk is the life blood of the company, communicating both with external clients and people internally.
The team is responsible for incident resolution, problem solving and call management, including monitoring, escalation and reporting. We have an in-house call management system, configured to meet ITIL standards, that also acts as a knowledge base.
What will you be doing?
Service Desk Analysts on the Service Desk provide support to customers using our client’s products and services. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing first support within a defined product area and gaining knowledge of other products
- Providing guidance & support to colleagues
- Problem solving of incidents to identify fixes
- Using the company's incident management tool
- Manage, meet and maintain service levels
- Install minor bug fixes
- Work closely with project teams to provide a fully serviced handover
What is our client looking for?
The successful Service Desk Analyst will need enthusiasm, energy, passion and initiative. Add in exceptional communication skills, a go-getting attitude and strong IT skills and you could be the right person to join our client’s award winning team.
You will need to talk to different people at different levels of a business as well as liaising with others in your team.
We are looking for graduates with a degree in a mathematics, finance or accountancy based subject. You must have a strong desire for learning and a logical mind.
You must be eligible to work in the UK.
